Welcome to our website. You are visiting the official site of the Oman Romanian Friendship Association. The Oman Romanian Friendship Association (ORFA) was founded by a group of Omanis and Romanians residing in Oman. ORFA operates under the Sultanate of Oman Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ auspices, its existence being acknowledged by the Ministerial Decree 312 / 2011.

We aim to use this website as a means of communication with all our members and stakeholders, be them Omanis, Romanians, or else. Please feel free to browse our website to know more about us and our activities in this beautiful country inhabited by friendly and welcoming people.

We try keeping our calendar of activities up-to-date and it is worth returning to it regularly to be well informed of new ORFA events!

ORFA membership is open to all Romanian citizens holding a valid residence visa in Oman, their spouses and friends who have an affiliation with Romania and residing in the Sultanate of Oman. Omani citizens, as well as residents of other nationalities, supportive to the Association’s objectives, are welcome to join. Honorary membership for non-residents may be proposed, analyzed and approved on a case by case basis.

No ORFA membership subscription will be payable by anyone. Voluntary contributions are welcome, as well as sponsorship.

ORFA membership card entitle its holder to discounts at our partners’ outlets. Cards come at a nominal cost (1 OMR and valid until the subsequent 1st of January).
